I have to say I was very skeptical at first. I have had a veggie burger before and I thought this would be no different. But as a mother that just had a baby two months ago, I am looking to eat better and lose some of this baby weight. And what better way to do that then to replace fatty food with ones like this. Especially if it tastes good too!
So this is why I was semi- excited to get an invite to this campaign. I got the coupon in (along with a few others, so I can get others into the same spirit) and went the the store yesterday and picked this up. While I was there getting this out of the freezer isle I noticed how many choices this company has. Also that there was a lot missing on the shelf. So this led me to believe that this was indeed a good tasting product. Either that or there are more than me wanting to start the year off right. Hehe.
I thought today I would try this for lunch s0 that I could get the ball rolling on my campaign activities. ( I am a bzzagent and I try products for free in exchange for my word of mouth. Then I do the activities on the product.) So I cook it up and decide that I wanted some banana peppers on it. I just love the taste of them on anything sandwich related. I get it all made up and it looks good. But I am still skeptical on the taste as I am in LOVE with my beef burgers. I take a bite and it is, to my surprise, very good. I would not say it tastes like a fresh beef patty as these are quite thin. But it is VERY similar to the frozen beef patties with 3 x's the fat in them. My two year old even made me share it with her, and she is picky with what she eats. I would give this product a HUGE thumbs up and I will definitely be keeping some of these around and plan on trying the many different products they have on the shelf. Go try them for yourself, you won't be disappointed!
