Not bad for Unjunked food.

I have to say that I was really impressed by this candy. I have eaten things that are off brand and good for you before and this brand takes the cake. I had to chance to try the chocolate covered candies, chocolate covered candies with peanuts and the peanut butter cups. Out of all three of these I have to say my favorite is the peanut butter cups. These taste almost like the real things except for more of a real peanut butter taste than the other brand. But they are super creamy. My husband tried this and he said that it was good but that the peanut butter was over powering. But he is the kind of person who don't like to venture from his normal. I gave one of the cups to my cousin and he said it was surprisingly good. He also said that he would be willing to eat them again.
                The next one I tried was the chocolate covered candies with peanuts. These I felt tasted really no different than the peanut M&M's. They were good. I did like notice that there was more of a peanut taste. And I think that this is because this brand has less chocolate covering the peanuts than the other brand. But this does not in any way make the taste worse. I would eat these again also. My so said he would eat these too. He said the same things that I did when it came to the extra peanut taste.
                 The last one I tried was the chocolate covered candies. I was okay with these. Definitely not my favorite. I was hoping that these would taste a little more like the actual thing. But there was a taste there that I just couldn't put my finger on. I gave some to my husband and he said they were not bad but that they tasted like they had hazel nut in them. I am not a huge hazel nut fan so this is probably why I didn't pin point a taste like that. I would still probably get the real thing vs these unfortunately. But my two year old daughter loved these. She can't really give her opinion on them but she kept coming back for more so I would assume that is an A+ from her. I would still continue to buy these for her as they are better for her and she is more than willing to eat them.
                All in all I like this brand. They are really not bad and they cost just about the same as the other. And they are better for my kids than the other brands. I am anxiously waiting to see if they will have the other two kinds soon so we can try them too. My husband is a snickers nut and I would love to make the switch to better stuff if he likes them. I am glad to be able to try a product like this and find a better way to eat my favorite foods with better benefits.

This is UNREAL(TM)

I have recently received an invite to another awesome campaign! It is called Unreal candy brought to my area by Walgreens. This candy is known as the "unjunked" candy. Better for you than the former candy that you can pick up in other stores. It has half the calories than other candy bars. Less sugar and is much better for you than the other candy bars that you are used to eating. I just got the coupons in the mail today for these and I have been waiting so anxiously to try this stuff. I am currently 27 weeks pregnant with a little boy who apparently has a sweet tooth to kill for. I think that these could make me gain less weight and be more healthy than the regular ones that I have been scarfing down lately. If these indeed do taste the same, then this is gonna be a life saver. And potentially a weigh gain saver. (Hehe) 
                There are five different kinds that I have seen. The different kinds are as follows: 
Unreal 54: Candy coated chocolates with peanuts. To replace M&M's with peanuts.
Unreal 41: Candy coated chocolates. To replace M&M's
Unreal 8: Chocolate, caramel, peanuts and nugat. To replace Snickers.
Unreal 5: Chocolate, caramel, nugat. To replace Milky way.
Unreal 77: Peanut butter cups. To replace Reeses.

I really LOVE all of these candy bars and I can not wait to see if I can replace my favorites with a better for you kind. No corn syrup. No hydrogenated oils.No artificial flavors. No preservatives or GMOs. Made from 100% real food. I will be back to update if I will be making the switch to the new unjunked world.

Alright, so I have enjoyed this campaign so much. Who doesn't love to eat? With me being 15 weeks pregnant, I am all about the food stuff. Hehe. I have already had to go out and buy another bottle of this great stuff. Any other time I would probably use it and then wait it out until all of my other things this can be used for was gone. I simply can't do that with this product. I have taken to adding a bookmark to the website for this grand product. 
                                Let me tell you why. I am absolutely in love with the recipe link on their webpage. It is SUPER easy to find exactly what you are looking for. If you want to make a specific thing, like snacks or appetizers, they have a way to find it that is really easy. All you have to do is find what you are wanting to make, like I said above. Then choose the ingredient that you are using to make something with. It really is that easy! If you are just looking to bake something or grill or something like that, there is a drop down menu for that, too! Plus, when you do find a recipe that you want to make, it shows you on one side what exactly you need to make it and then what to do on the other side. There is also a rating scale on there telling you how hard it is to make the certain dishes that you pick out. This recipe link itself is worth knowing who Filippo Berio is!  I got the Bon Apetite magazine in hopes of getting some good recipes. This has totally replaced the need for me to pay for that subscription! I am absolutely in LOVE with this product!

Dr. Scholl's For Her

At first glance I could see these creating a problem in my shoes for me. Like I am walking with a heel that is 3" high and I need a bit of a bunch under my foot? They did feel really "gel" like. That is a good check mark for the product. I just didn't know how they were going to feel in my shoes as they have a SERIOUS decline down to my toe. I figured I would just put them on and cause a major foot slide downward. I am HAPPY to say that this did NOT happen. 
                                            I have a pair of high wedges that I absolutely LOVE to wear. But after about an hour they tend to get really painful to keep on my feet. When I got invited to this campaign I knew that this was the shoes that I would be trying these baby's out in. I went and dug them out of my shoes box. (Yes I have a box/tote devoted just to MY shoes) LOL. I have kept them put up because I do not like the way they made my feet feel, as I said, after about an hour. Well, I slipped these things in, still skeptical. They stayed really well to my surprise. I put the oh so loved wedges on for the first time in MONTHS. Man, I didn't take them off all day! Nor did I get that feeling of walking in pure hell after an hour either. I would definitely suggest these to any girls that are wearing high heel attire any day! Thank you so much for showing my shoes the light again. They thank you!

Filippo Berio Olive Oil

Okay,
          I got a few chances to try this yummy stuff. I am 12 weeks pregnant and I have been craving pan seared tilopia with  rice and bearnaise sauce. So I thought, why not try this stuff out instead of my normal cooking spray to help it not stick. Well this was way better than helping it not stick. The taste is good in combination with the sauces and seasoning that I put on it. It also didn't even try to stick to the pan. 
             I love how there is a scale on how to switch this stuff out for things that are not as good for us. I think that this will cut down the use of harsher things I use in my cooking for my children. Plus who doesn't love something that tastes great while it is making them better health wise. They have so many recipes that you can use this stuff for, also. I look at them and it makes my mouth water. I will probably be doing one of these awesome looking recipes here in the next week for my family and posting again with a picture and how good it tasted. 
              This stuff is about $6.00 in the store and to me so worth the money just to cook me fish. The fact that it is good for you and there is so many versatile things that you can use this for is even better. I will definitely be keeping this stocked in my house and using the recipes for new ideas and the chart to replace this instead of the other things. Thank you BzzAgent for allowing me to try this amazing product.

Garnier Fructis: The outcome

Okay guys, I finally got a chance to try this stuff out. I have been putting this off because I just moved into a new house. I got the package like the day I found out that I was going to be moving in the short term. And by short term I mean..... I have to pack TODAY. That was last Tuesday. Well, we are now in our new house fully and I finally found the package with this product in it. I decided yesterday that my little girl needed a bath and what a better time to use this than to get in the shower with her and kill two birds with one stone. 
                 The first things I did notice about the product was the fact that it has a bead of rough plastic on the part that you open so that you can open it really easy. I do not know about all of you, but sometimes when I am in the shower and I pick up the shampoo and conditioner to use it, someone else has dribbled some of it on the bottle and that makes it super hard to open the flip top. I am usually resorting to using my teeth to open it, and that is rough on them to say the least. (You all know you have done this) LOL. Anyhow, this is a GREAT feature. 
                 The next thing that  noticed about it was that is smelled SO good. I enjoy to have something on me that smells good and lasts for a long time. I used this yesterday and it STILL smells good today. I mean just as strong as it was when I put it in my hair yesterday.
                  Now I have super long hair and I have to use A LOT to get my hair in a lather. And then just as much of the conditioner to make sure I can brush my hair out and make it feel soft. This did what I needed it to. I have used all kinds of hair care products. I have resorted to using the Suave professionals. These are GREAT products for the price. These do not cost a lot either. It is like $3.00 a bottle. My hair today does feel soft and manageable. I do like this product for all the things I have listed above. Would I recommend this to someone else? The answer is yes, I would. Over all a A+ for this product. Thank you Garnier.

Filippo Berio Olive Oil

Hey all,
              I have been invited to another great campaign! This one is for olive oil. I usually just use this to keep my noodles from sticking together and to make my gravy. But I am seeing that there are MANY uses to this product other than just those two things. I can not wait to try this stuff. Since I have been pregnant I have wanted fish more. And I find it is better to pan sear fish and pour a sauce over it when done. This is going to make that more possible without all the fat that comes from your other oils and butters.

Garnier Fructis Shampoo and Conditioner

I can not wait to try this stuff! I am ALWAYS looking for better hair care products. I have literally tried many different brands and kinds on the shelves and yet I still change brands and/or kinds every other month or so. I will be using this IMMEDIATELY to see if this kind is my golden ticket. I know that I used their BB cream and it turned me from all of my other foundations, so maybe they will do the same with my shampoo and conditioner. We'll see.

BB Cream follow up (A bit late)

Okay, so I am sorry that this is coming a little bit later than I wanted it to. I got this product and it took me about a week to even get to take it out of the box to try it. After I was able to go to a quiet place to do my review and a video of this stuff, I got the video review done. Then I sat here all night trying to edit it and all that jazz just to find out that the program I used is NOT free like it claimed and that it would have a crappy water mark on the face of the video. I would just upload that, but the fact is that seems a bit tacky to me. Not only that but the video SERIOUSLY needs to be edited as the camera fell while doing the review and I finished my make up and the video turned out to be like 30 minutes long. I do NOT need 30 minutes of video to review this product. 
                                    Now to the product..... This stuff is good stuff. The price? Yes, I would definitely pay the $12.99 retail that it costs. Now let me tell you why I would pay this for a "foundation". The tint adjusts right to your skin tone, unlike the ones that promise that and end up turning darker than promised. It is twice as big as any other foundation that you buy. So with that being said, you are paying the same amount as the others that you buy that are half that size. Coming from a girl that is in custody of TONS of foundation, this is by far the best I have found. I will continue to buy this product. I am still in the process of finding a good edit software to edit my videos and as soon as I do that I will be posting the video for this review, so you can see for yourself how good this product it. So I give this product a HUGE thumbs up!

Follow up to Claritin

I have nothing but good things to say about this product. I gave it to my little on who had a runny nose and was sneezing like crazy. Within the next 30 minutes her nose had cleared up and she stopped sneezing. I went to the store and checked the cost of this product. The chewables were $10 and the liquid was $6. I got some coupons with the Buzz kit. They are for $3 off of the product, whether chewable or liquid in any size. That is FANTASTIC! This product I would recommend to ANY parent wanting to help those kiddos get rid of the sniffles due to seasonal allergies. Childrens Claritin.

I just got invited to review children's Claritin. I am super stoked because three out of my "soon to be six" children have super bad allergies. The poor babies get it from me. But I have yet to try it. I always go for the off brands due to them costing a third less sometimes. And they usually say that they are just as good. But who can argue with getting it FREE to try? Not me! I will update on this as soon as I get the stuff in the mail. And I am hoping at that time just for the campaign sake that I can make a adequate review. I will NOT give my children unneeded medication!

Bought for the kids, BUT secretly LOVED by the adults!

I think this piece of equipment is AWESOME. Who doesn't like the fact that you do not have to use a controller? I know this is one of the best parts. No batteries to replace, no strap to avoid a broken T.V, no need to buy a charging dock, no cables to trip over, and HOLY COW on the cost to buy more than one. Now, I own the Playstation 3, Wii, and X-box 360. I have owned the X-box now for five years and for the past four it had never been played. UNTIL we got the Kinect. Now the Xbox 360 goes everywhere we go just so that we can play it with friends. I absolutely LOVE this thing. And depending on the game you have in it, this thing is also a very good form of cardio. I am so looking forward to seeing if I get picked for this house party. And what a great pick for my first house party.
                                                   Now if I can get this house party you will all be getting an invite to come try this out, too. How fun! The best part is I can share this with all of you and you can all play an influence in my review.

Follow up on Crystal Soil Water Beads

Okay, so I was doing my video review. I get the whole thing done and finally be able to get to my computer long enough to edit and post. Guess what? The stupid thing didn't record in the proper format for ANYTHING to view it! Ugh?! So lesson learned to check my video before I just assume that I got what I needed. I did get the second half of the review done. I am still in debate of posting that until I get the purple ones in the mail. I mean the complete wipe of that video was a major part of the initial product. I do have to say that I am VERY impressed with this product. And with all that being said, the Ivy is not only doing wonderful but it is growing new leaves! I am very pleased with this product. And this product is DIRT cheap. Hehe. I put the description at the top of this post so you could see what these things really are. They are neat that is for sure. I seen these at my cousins wedding once but I thought they were only for decoration. Turns out they are for all kinds of stuff! Can't wait to get these babies in some water so that I can see how pretty they look with a plant. I will do a video tutorial of how to use these. :)

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector B.B. Cream

So, I am super excited guys. I got invited to another BZZ campaign! This one is a "Miracle Skin Perfector" by B.B. Creams.
I have some issues with my skin that I would love to see if this helps with. If any of you are like me, then you are super picky on what looks good on you. And I will not settle for less when it comes to my face. This is the part of me that EVERYONE sees. And I do not want them to take the first impression wrong. Plus, I am a mom of five. And that tends to leave it's mark on your face too. As I said, I can not wait to see how this stuff works for me. Will update soon.

Part 2

The review of my Philips Satin Perfect Epilator.

It is HERE!

                 Okay, so I got the epilator in the mail this morning. My first reaction to it was that it was very nice looking. Very sleek and pretty. (Important to us girls.....LOL) It comes with plenty of attachments and also a very awesome pair of tweezers. Also a carry bag to tote around if you ever need to shave in a tight spot. LOL. The zipper on the tote is a bit stiff when you first open and close it a few times. Other than that, everything seems very nice so far with this product. 

              After I opened it and looked at all of the pieces with it, I opened the instructions. Boy O boy, these are some kind of instructions. I think that if they had made this huge weaved "Map" of instructions into a book with a couple cheap staples, it would have been better. ( I mean come on, people are not paying a dollar for one of these!) I am now uploading my video of the opening and look through of the box contents. Also, I am charging the unit for an hour per the instructions so that I can make a full review of this product. Looks promising though. (Even if I only use the razor at the end of this review.)

SatinPerfect HP6576/50

I have just signed up for a campaign featuring this beauty. If you do not know what this is, it is a epilator. An epilator is basically a razor that works more like waxing. It pulls the hair out by the roots, thus keeping you smoother longer. I am excited to see how well this works. I used one of these back in the day when I first started learning how to shave. At the age of 12, this is not the kind of thing to learn with that is for sure. Non the less, I am looking forward to reviewing this item. I will be making a video of my first time using this. Just because I think that first reactions and first hand is better for judgment sake. I will be back to re-up this subject when I get the epilator in the mail.

The start of something New.....

Hello,

         My name is Heidi Wake. But you can all call me Mizzy. I got this name from being a gamer. (rock on fellow gamers) So it has kinda stuck after seven years. I have created this blog in hopes of passing off good information about things I buy or review through websites. 

                   I am a SAHM. For all of you out there who do not know, that is short for Stay At Home Mom. I have five beautiful children. Ages 12 years to 2. As you know, us SAHM's have to find things to occupy their time, right? Why not do it while giving others good informative reviews. I intend on doing video reviews of the products also.
